Believing in you. Believing in better.

“I believe in building and nurturing relationships, while fostering a love for the game.” - Mark Price

Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, I’m here to work with you to help improve your confidence and your overall game.

No one wins from cookie-cutter coaching styles. We’re all different. We all learn differently. And I’m all about getting to know you, getting to know your pickleball goals, and building you up to be the best you can be.

“Mark is an incredible instructor. You would almost think he custom-made his lesson plan for each person on the camp.”

— Pam Blakeney, Williamson, GA

The Pro Approach

One of the best ways to get better at pickleball is to think like a pro.

I teach you to think like an elite player by focusing on three key areas of your game...

It’s all about the 3 c’s

Consistency

Staying calm and learning to take your time on court during a rally is key. Don’t get beaten by yourself or the net.

Connection

We’ll talk about the importance of tracking the ball, staying focused, and watching the ball as it hits the center of the paddle to improve your accuracy.

Control

You’ll hear me say this a lot...Placement beats Power. By learning the art of placement and aiming the ball into a specific location on the court–at someone’s foot, in the corner, or behind an opponent–your play will be more strategic.

Be purposeful in your play (and practice) and you’ll start winning more points. Your rallies will get longer, and the points will become exciting. Then it’s about strategy and moving your opponent around the court like pieces on a chess board.

The Man Behind The Paddle

“It’s exciting to help players
reach their full potential.”

I fell in love with playing pickleball back in 2018. It’s so addictive and the sense of community within the game is unbeatable. It was a logical step to become a PPR-Certified Pro Pickleball Coach, and since 2019, I’ve been teaching great people, like you, to play better pickleball.

It’s the little things that make a big difference to the way you play. I can observe your technique and pinpoint why errors are reoccurring, or fine-tune your stroke to make it even better.

There’s nothing like that feeling when I know I’ve helped someone improve their game. It’s so wonderful to see players grow and advance in this fantastic game. It’s why I love coaching!

GIVING BACK…

I’ve seen first-hand the positive impact sport can have on a person’s physical and mental wellness.

That’s why I’m growing a pickleball foundation for underprivileged children.

I’ve already partnered with non-profit organizations to run several pickleball camps in inner cities across the US, as well as orphanages in Guatemala & Cambodia.

When I’m not coaching…

Originally from Cheshire, England, it’s a little-known fact that before I became a professional sports coach, I had a job as a baker. I can still make a pretty mean loaf of bread.

More often than not, even when I’m not coaching, you’ll still find me on court.

This sport is so much fun, partly because of the balance between skill and strategy, but also because I love the camaraderie.

A Whole World of Experience

For 25 years

I’ve coached children and adults to excel in Basketball, Soccer, Kayaking, Climbing & Abseiling, Caving, Survival Skills, Gymnastics, Tennis, Squash, Swimming, and Adventure Sports.

WORLDWIDE WINS

I’ve also worked with street kids in Nepal and Turkey, trained corporate leaders in Egypt, and provided professional sports coaching with international students in Hong Kong, Oxford, and throughout the UK.

Elite coaching

I bring a whole world of coaching experience to the pickleball court. My coaching career started at aged 17 as a volunteer coach, and I worked my way up to coach gymnastics at a high level with the privilege of coaching a team that went onto compete as team GB in the Special Olympics.

what people are saying

In pickleball, it’s always about the next game.
